Something For The Half-Pints
Published in Half-Pints by meg |Little ones can be just like their older brothers and sisters with their own summer camp! Half-Pints Head Coach Gina Markel created our special summer sports program for children aged four to six. Our sports camps for Half-Pints are three hours long each day, and in this time the children will be able to play a wide variety of sports and physical fitness games with other young campers. As always, a low ratio of campers to staff ensures our campers' safety.
In addition to playing age-appropriate sports, these little ones will also make new friends and participate in fun arts and crafts projects. Our Half-Pint campers will also enjoy a break time and a healthy snack. Our Half-Pint summer sports camps are always a great success, as little ones build athletic skills and make new friends at their very own summer camp! This camp is a great chance for little ones to have fun playing sports with other children.

Since 2000, Gina has partnered with the NIKE Sports Centers to create and maintain youth sports activities and camps at the World Headquarters in Beaverton, Oregon. Her focus has been on children ages 3 to 12, encouraging and helping them to participate in activities including basketball and soccer basics, sports conditioning, fitness activities, and arts & crafts. In 2004, Gina created and directed a new summer sports camp for children ages 4 to 6, the success of which leaves the kids and their parents excited for next year. Gina finds excitement and fulfillment in the fact that she is helping shape America's youth.
