BASKETBALL HEAD COACH - Scott Kellar

Scott Kellar is the current Boys Varsity Basketball Coach at Century High School in Hillsboro. He has coached for 18 years starting his career as an Assistant Coach at Western Oregon University and for the last 16 years has been a head coach including ten years at Century HS. Scott has had a very successful coaching career leading three different high schools into the state playoffs, including a Northwest Oregon Conference championship this past season. His teams are characterized by their fundamentals and level of effort that they display. Scott also has an abundance of camp experience.

He has been in charge of the Nike Basketball Camps on campus for 10 years, has run his own high school camps for 16 years, and has worked camps for coaching legends Mike Krzyzewski and the all time high school wins leader Morgan Wooten. His philosophy of emphasizing skill improvement, competition, and a great deal of enthusiasm as been a winning combination at camp.
